This one was a privilege. We were thrilled when the South Burnett MTB Club were so happy with their club jerseys we did for them, that they chose us to do these Ride For Relay (Relay For Life) jerseys a few months later. It’s cool to know that one of our designs is out there in the fight for cancer. As one of the South Burnett MTB Club members was organising the South Burnett Ride For Relay, we went with a design that paid tribute to the club, yet also clearly highlighted the cause and major sponsor for this team.
Our custom cycling jacket is best described as a medium weight jacket suitable for temperate or cool conditions. This jacket is not like the flimsy, lightweight jackets/vests popular in warmer conditions. These are still light enough to fit into a reasonably sized hydration pack but offer a bit more warmth for those chilly morning or late afternoon road or xc mtb rides through summer, winter and spring that much of Aussie enjoys.
The Hunter Mountain Bike Association is the oldest mtb club in NSW, so it was an honour when they chose us to create a new design for their riding kit.
On the menu were long sleeve jerseys for their downhill and gravity riders, as well as a short sleeve jersey and bib-knick kit. Some of the girls wanted a different, more feminine colour choice, so we catered to that requirement as well.
The result is a bright, instantly recognisable design featuring strong elements from their logo on a sunset background over an iconic mountain in their region.
This was a cool challenge. We were contacted and asked to design a bright red and black coaching jersey design with a pirate skull as the feature. A bit of research revealed that the coaching company’s owner had a skull and cross swords as his Facebook profile pic. So, we utilised that into the concept to create this grungy but clean design.
